By default, all users in the queue have the capability to add and remove users from the queue using the general commands in user management.

Access Queue Configuration anytime by typing this command in the message box /queue config or by clicking the ellipses icon in the pinned queue message and selecting configure.

In the Queue Configuration box under Advanced Options select the specific command you wish to restrict to Admins only.

The following commands can be restricted to Admins only:

If this preference is enabled the user will get the following message when attempting to kick a user from the queue:

“Kicking users from Queue has been restricted by Slack Workspace Admin.”
